Something weird is happening in footy… About this time every year, if you consume much footy media everyone thinks the game is in crisis in the 8-weeks leading up to finals. Boring results… low scoring… winter slugfests! WELL NOT THIS YEAR!

St Kilda are still in the Top 8, as are the Blues… GWS is on a 7-game winning streak while 15th placed Fremantle is STILL only 2 wins outside the Top 8!!!

Collingwood, and Port Adelaide just lost in the same weekend, and as such THE PREMIERSHIP RACE IS WIDE OPEN!!!

If you don’t find footy, at the very least EXCITING if not GOOD, well then you’re not really into footy are you!
